Michelin Guide: San Francisco 2009

Last night I found out that a photo I submitted for the Plumed Horse's spot in the 2009 San Francisco Michelin Guide was used. This one really put a grin on my face because this guide is pretty well known amongst ... well ... everyone.

One of my photos was submitted to Esquire magazine and ended up being used in their November 2008 issue. I've been lazy and haven't scanned the issue until today. Pretty neat to be in such a big name magazine.

Well I haven't updated this blog in a while and for that I'm sorry. I got a nice email from a viewer that wanted to use one of my photos for a website. I thought was really nice of him to actually ask for permission to use the photo and of course it was nice to know that someone likes the photos I take and post. It has actually inspired me to post more often. We'll see how that goes.

Steak crudo ... delicious. Carrying my huge camera bag into restaurants isn't the most pleasant thing to do, but I like how some of the pics turn out. It's good practice if I ever have to photograph food again. Raw quail eggs are all the rage in my mouth these days. They pack so much flavor in such a small package. Delicious.

Just some random shots from this past weekend in SF. B&W is on a bus (duh) and the night shot is in Potrero Hill.

I finally decided to make some much needed business cards for potential clients. The Post-It Notes and napkins just weren't doing it anymore. Haha. Hopefully quality is good or I'll need to find another print company.

I paid a visit to the Plumed Horse restaurant in Saratoga tonight for a little bit of fine wining and dining. We got to enjoy some experimental dishes from Peter that aren't on the menu yet. I sure hope he puts the squab on there because it was fantastic. Anyway, here are a couple shots of the fully stocked wine cellar that can hold up to 40,000 bottles!
If you manage to go, tell Josh you love the website!

Merry Christmas to all!!! I decided to use the morning off to fix a rattling noise in my car. And of course I had to take a pic with the 10-22. Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday.
